ERNESTO TORRES

Instructor

Ernesto was a Navy Corpsman Veteran who Served during Operation Enduring Freedom in support of the Global War against terrorism.

Ernesto was in charge of special operations and RHIB operations in Drug Enforcement and Anti-Pirate Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in Somalia. As a Combat Medic/Corpsman Ernesto was in charge of first aid, self-aid, buddy aid, tactical care under fire, and tactical field care training for RHIB crew/support crew operators.

PHILIP RAUSHEL

Instructor

Philip is a former U.S. Air Force TACP that worked as a JTAC attached to the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne and other Infantry Division’s during OIF/OEF. After he learned the procedures and systems necessary he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan where he provided U.S. Army and allied forces with radio operations for close air support (CAS.)
Worked in Fugitive Recovery/Bounty Hunting throughout Southern California.

TYLER SMITH

Instructor

Tyler joined the Marine Corps in 2005. After two years there he was able to make a lateral transfer to 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance  Battalion where he served as an infantry scout for the next 4 years. During that time, he attained the rank of Sergeant .

 

While still enlisted, Tyler began training in Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

 

Tyler is a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is an avid competitor and instructor.  He is also an active MMA fighter and coaches middle school wrestling part time.

 

Tyler joined the Draken team in 2017 as a detail leader and tactics expert. Tyler brings a wide range of expertise but specializes in unarmed hand to hand combat and De-escalation/Defensive tactics.

PAUL TRUONG
Nashville, Tennessee, Instructor

Started career in the Honky Tonk bar industry, and worked a number of roles, including bystander medical aid, vocal/physical deescalations physical premises escort.

 

In 2018 he employed with a multi-state wide security firm and worked in executive protection, fast armed guard responses, high risk transport/convoy, hostile termination, civil unrest events, and natural disaster responses.

 

Paul is a competitive Shooter.
